안녕하십니까 대장금 테마파크입니다. 대장금 테마파크는 MBC드라마 <대장금>의 주 촬영지로 2004년 12월 문을 연 국내 최초의 드라마 테마파크입니다. 개장 이래 약 129만 명이 방문하여 세계 각지의 시청자들에게 우리문화를 적극적으로 알리는 한류 메신저 역할을 해왔습니다. 그러나 대장금 테마파크는 방송용 세트로 지어진 가설건축물로 최근 급격한 시설물 노후 및 파손으로 인하여 관람객 안전이 우려되는 상황입니다. 이에 당사는 2012년 1월 1일부터 대장금 테마파크를 폐장하기로 결정하였습니다. 폐장 후에는 대장금 테마파크의 관람이 불가합니다. 그동안 대장금 테마파크에 아낌없는 관심과 성원 주신 점 깊이 감사드립니다

We are the <Jewel In the Palace> Theme Park. As the main filming location for MBC drama <Jewel in The Palace>, we opened this very first drama theme park in Korea in December, 2004. Since opening, there have been approx. 1,290,000 people who visited our theme park up to now and we enthusiastically contributed to et many viewers in the world to learn about our culture. The reason for the closure is due to the rapidly worn out facilities in recent years as this theme park was built up solely for a temporary construction building of the drama, <Jewel In the Palace> and we are very concerned about the safety of viewers. Hence, we determined to close the theme park as of Jan.1st, 2012. After closure, you are no longer to see the <Jewel In the Palace> theme park. Please understand for this sudden closure of theme park since we have faced the trying times in this business climate. Meantime, we deeply thank to all that took the time to give a very generous interest and support for <Jewel In the Palace> theme park.
